趣談“Dog”的用法

Dog（狗）：常指人，好人壞人都可以；bitch（母狗），則指潑婦。
　　You are a lucky dog. 你真是個幸運兒。

　　My boss is a jolly dog. 我的老板是個風趣的家夥。

　　Every dog has his day. 凡人都有得意時。

　　David works like a dog. David工作真賣勁兒。

　　The film must be a real dog. 這部電影一定很糟糕。

　　Your partner is a dirty dog. 你的郃夥人是個卑鄙小人。

　　The poet died like a dog. 這位詩人潦倒而死。

　　They treated him like a dog. 他們把他看得糞土不如。

　　You can't teach an old dog new tricks. 老人難改變。

　　He is really a dead dog. 他是個沒用的東西。

　　Don't talk to me like that，you bitch！你這潑婦，別跟我這樣說話。（慎用）
