【Which is the second month of the year?】

　　Which is the second month of the year?一年中的第二個月是什麽？
　　month 表示“月”，一年中有十二個月，書寫時要大寫。它們是：January 一月，February二月，March三月，April四月，May五月，June六月,July七月,August八月,September九月,October 十月,November十一月.December十二月。

　　【And the worst?】

　　And the worst?（哪一個月）最不好呢？
　　worst是bad 的級形式，bad 可作形容詞和副詞，表示“壞”，“糟糕”。它的比較級形式是worse.在句是作表語或定語。例如：

　　Today was worse than yesterday.
　　今天比昨天糟糕。

　　Which one is the worst?
　　哪一個最糟糕？

　　【When did you start in this school?】

　　When did you start in this school?你什麽時候在這所學校上學的？
　　這是一個過去時的特殊疑問句。When 指時間，可以就年，月，日和鍾點進行提問,它的同義詞有what time,但後者衹能對鍾頭進行提問。例如：

　　When do you get up this morning?
　　你今天早上幾點鍾起牀的？

　　What time are we going to meet?
　　我們什麽時候見麪？

　　【What's the date today?】

　　What's the date today?今天是幾號？
　　這是一個詢問日期的句型。注意和What day is it today?的區別。後者指“今天星期幾？”。廻答日期時，表示在某一天，用介詞on，表示不含某一天的年，月，以及季節都有用介詞in .例如：

　　"What's the date today?""It's May the first."
　　“今天是幾號？”“今天是五月一號。”

　　"What day is it today?""Today is Sunday."
　　“今天是星期幾？”“今天是星期天。”

　　I bought this bike in 1996.
　　我1996年買的這輛自行車。

　　【Three days ago.】

　　Three days ago.三天前。
　　Ago 表示“…以前”,與表示一段時間的短語一起搆成時間狀語。句中的謂語要用過去時。注意和before 的區別，before 通常用來表示在某個固定時間點之前，可單獨作用。例如：

　　We had a meeting two weeks ago?
　　兩周前我們開了個會。

　　They reached the factory before twelve o'clock.
　　他們十二點鍾前到達工廠。
