Candy: What do you mean? You want me to go to a lower-tier school?
　　Ian: Well, California has plenty of other state schools. Their programs are easier to get into.
　　Candy: Wherever I go, as long as there's good coffee, I'll be happy.
　　Ian: Oh, you're a coffee drinker? I thought you were from Taiwan? What are you doing drinking coffee and not tea?
　　Candy: Only people my grandparents’ age drink tea.
　　Ian: You have the best tea in the world here, and you're squandering it?

　　凱蒂：你的意思是什麽？你要我去比較差的學校？
　　伊恩：聽著，加州有很多其它的州立學校。它們的課程比較容易申請上。
　　凱蒂：不琯去哪，衹要有好咖啡，我就很高興了。
　　伊恩：噢，你是個酗咖啡的人？我以爲你是台灣人咧？怎麽不喝茶而喝咖啡呢？
　　凱蒂：衹有我阿公阿嬤那年紀的人才喝茶。
　　伊恩：這裡有全世界的茶，你還不珍惜？(
