On Building a Chemical Works

在某學校附近擬興建一座化工廠。請你以該校學生的名義寫一篇英語短文，陳述反對興建此化工廠的理由。短文要包含以下要點：

　　Most students of out， school， including me， think it is wrong to build a chemical works near our school. Although the works will make a lot of money for our city， we do think it will do us more harm than good. First， the drinking water will be badly polluted. Of course， they have promised to do something to prevent the water from being polluted， but it is far from enough. Second， the air over the city will be polluted， too. We will never be able to breathe fresh air. How can we live here any longer？ What's more， the site of the chemical works has been the only place where we students play games and have sports after school. Where would we go if it were occupied？ For the above reasons， we do hope the project will be cancelled.

　　我們學校的大多數同學，包括我在內，認爲在我們學校附近興建化工廣是不對的。盡琯該廠可爲本市賺不少錢，但危害大於好処。首先，嚴重汙染飲用水。他們儅然答應將來取措施防止水的汙染，但這是遠遠木夠的。其次，也造成本市的空氣汙染。我們將不能再呼吸到新鮮空氣，怎能在此生活呢？而且，所選的廠址是我們學生放學後做遊戯和運動的場所，如果被佔用了，我們到哪裡去呢？由於上述原因，我們真的希望取消這項工程。
