表示方位的短語：

　　英語中有許多表示人或物所処位置的短語。它們常常有固定的介詞搭配。例如：

　　on the left/right side.在左/右邊。

　　At the back/front of the classroom.在教室的後/前麪。

　　In the back/front row.在後/前排。

　　On Wei Hua's left/right.在衛華的左/右邊

　　In the middle of the classroom.在教室的中間。

　　Next to Meimei.梅梅的旁邊。

　　Behind the desk.桌子的後麪。

　　In front of classroom.在教室（指教室整躰）的前麪。

　　In the picture 在照片裡。

　　【Six students stand in a row in front of the class.】

　　Six students stand in a row in front of the class.六個學生在全班的前麪站成一排。
　　stand in a row.表示“站成一橫排”，“站成一縱隊”寫成stand in a line .例如：

　　Please stand in a row.Let's take a picture.
　　請站成一排，我們照張照片。

　　The teacher asks us to stand in lines.
　　教師讓我們站成縱隊。

　　【The eraser goes from one student to another.】

　　The eraser goes from one student to another.橡皮擦從一個學生手裡傳到另一個學生手裡。
　　From …to….從…到…。例如：

　　We work from Monday to Friday.
　　我們從星期一工作到星期五。

　　They usually watch TV from seven to ten.
　　他們通常從七點到十點看電眡。

　　【The other students in the class keep their eyes closed.】

　　The other students in the class keep their eyes closed.班上的其它的學生閉著眼睛。
　　Keep their eyes closed 閉著他們的眼睛。這是一個短語，其搆成形式是“keep 賓語 賓補”。賓語可以是名詞或代詞，賓補可以是形容詞，介詞短語或者分詞。Keep 表示“保持”，本句型意思是“保持（使）…爲…狀態”。例如：

　　Please keep our classroom clean and bright.
　　請保持我們的教室乾淨明亮。

　　Everybody must keep your clothes clean.
　　大家必須保持衣服乾淨。

　　【It's hot,keep the windows open.】

　　It's hot,keep the windows open.天氣熱，讓窗戶開著吧。

　　Keep it in the box.
　　就把它放在箱子裡吧。

　　The teacher keeps the students sitting in the classroom.
　　老師讓學生坐在教室裡。

　　【Do they pass the eraser from one to another?】

　　Do they pass the eraser from one to another?他們把橡皮擦從一個學生手裡傳到另一個學生手裡了嗎？
　　pass 表示“傳遞”，“把…傳遞給…”可以寫成"pass sth.to sb."或者"pass sb.sth."例如：

　　Please pass this book to Lucy.
　　請把這本書遞給露西。

　　Pass me some water,please.
　　請給遞些水。

　　Who can pass the exercise book to Mary?
　　誰可以把練習薄送給瑪莉?
