【Morning.Jim!】

　　Morning.Jim!早上好。吉姆。
　　儅早上遇見比較熟悉的人或朋友時，可把“Good morning"問候語簡單地說成"morning",也可以把"Good afternoon"說成"afternoon",但不如"morning"使用的多。例如：

　　Morning.Xiao Li.
　　早上好，小李。

　　Afternoon.Miss Gao.
　　高小姐。下午好。

　　【How far is it?】

　　How far is it?有多遠？
　　這是一個詢問距離有多遠的句型。爲明確“從…到…”的距離，可在句尾加"from…to…"或者"from…".廻答時，可用"It's …."例如：

　　"How far is it from here to there?""It's one kilometre."
　　“從這兒到那兒有多遠呢？”“有一公裡。”

　　"How far is the shop from here?""It's not far."
　　“商店離這兒有多遠？”“不遠”

　　"How far is it from your school to my school?"
　　"It's five minutes'drive."
　　“從你的學校到我的學校有多遠呢？”
　　“開車五分鍾時間的路程。”

　　【Let's get on the bus.】

　　Let's get on the bus.讓我們上車吧。
　　句中的get on意思是“上車”，它的反義詞，get off.例如：

　　Get on the bus,please.
　　請上車。

　　We get to Bei Jing.Please get off the train.
　　我們到達北京了，請下火車吧。

　　【The people are all working hard.】

　　The people are all working hard.所有的人都在努力地乾活。
　　All 表示“都”，“全部”，它和動詞一起作用時，all 要寫在系動詞，情態動詞，助動詞的後麪，實意動詞的前麪。例如：

　　We are all workers.
　　我們都是工人。

　　You must all finish the homework tonight.
　　你們今晚必須完成作業。

　　We are all listening to you.
　　我們都在聽你講話呢。

　　【Who has the most apples,Li Lei,Jim or Lily?】

　　Who has the most apples,Li Lei,Jim or Lily?誰拿的蘋果最多，李雷，吉姆還是莉莉？
　　這是一句級形式的選擇疑問句。前麪是一個特殊疑問句，後麪加用or連接的選擇部分，如果有多項選擇，則在最後兩個詞之間加or.比較級形式也是這樣。例如：

　　Which is dear,this one or that one?
　　哪一個貴，這一個還是那一個？

　　Who is the tallest,Han Meimai,Kate or Li lei?
　　誰個子，韓梅梅，凱特還是李雷？

　　【Can you reach them?】

　　Can you reach them?你能夠著蘋果嗎？
　　reach 表示“到達”，“伸出”之意。可用作及物動詞和不及物動詞。用作不及物動詞可與for連用，表示“伸手去夠”。例如：

　　We can't reach the apples on the tree.
　　我們夠不著樹上的蘋果。

　　He reaches for the book behind the box,but he can't get it.
　　他伸手去夠箱子後麪的書，但沒有夠著。

　　We are going to reach Taiyuan.
　　我們就要到達太原了。
