雁門太守行

【唐】李賀

黑雲壓城城欲摧，甲光曏日金鱗開。

角聲滿天鞦色裡，塞上燕脂凝夜紫。

半卷紅旗臨易水，霜重鼓寒聲不起。

報君黃金台上意，提攜玉龍爲君死。

李賀（790-816），字長吉。河南府福昌縣昌穀鄕（今河南省宜陽縣）人，祖籍隴西郡。唐朝中期浪漫主義詩人，與詩仙李白、李商隱稱爲“唐代三李”。

LI He (790-816), styled Lasting Luck , a native of Changgu Town, Fuchang County (present-day Yiyang County, Henan Province). His ancestral home was Longxi Prefecture. Li He, a romantic poet in the mid-Tang dynasty, Li Bai (God of Poetry) and Li Shangyin have been known as “Three Talented Lis of the Tang Dynasty”.（陳蕾譯）

The town’s to fall as black clouds over it run;

The mails shine their golden scales to the sun.

The conk neath the sky sounds to autumn bright;

The rouge at the pass chills blood stains at night.

Vis-a-vis the Change flutters half the flag;

Cold with thick frost the drum rumbles to sag.

To requite the Lord’s grace at Gold Mound high,

With Jade Dragon in hand I’d rather die!
