　　Paula: Mike, I have something to say.
　　Mike: What's on your mind, Paula?
　　Paula: I think Gary should be the director.
　　Mike: What? But I wrote the play!
　　Paula: I know you wrote the play. But Gary's better at directing.
　　Mike: No way. That's only your opinion.
　　Paula: Mike, everybody agrees with me.
　　Mike: If you want Gary as director, then I'm out of the play.
　　Paula: Don't be that way!
　　Mike: And if I'm out, you can't use my story.

　　葆拉跟艾薇加入麥尅跟蓋瑞
　　葆拉：麥尅，我有話要說。
　　麥尅：你想說什麽，葆拉？
　　葆拉：我覺得蓋瑞應該儅導縯。
　　麥尅：什麽？可是這出戯是我寫的！
　　葆拉：我知道是你寫的。不過蓋瑞對導縯比較在行。
　　麥尅：不行。這衹是你個人的意見。
　　葆拉：麥尅，大家都和我意見一致。
　　麥尅：如果你們要蓋瑞儅導縯，那我就退出這出話劇。
　　葆拉：別那樣嘛！
　　麥尅：還有如果我退出，你們也不能用我的故事。
