　　It is …from …to ….表示“從…到…有…遠”。It 表示“距離”，有關表示距離的句型可有多種。例如：

　　It is five kilometres from my house to our school.
　　從我家到學校有五公裡。

　　The school is two kilometres from here.
　　學校離這兒有兩公裡遠。

　　It's about ten kilometers away.
　　有十公裡遠。

　　The town is tree hours by bus from here.
　　從這兒坐汽車去城鎮有三個小時。

　　★　So far,no man has travelled farther than the moon.

　　So far,no man has travelled farther than the moon.到目前爲止，沒有人去過比月球更遠的地方。
　　So far 表示“到目前爲止”，有作狀語。例如：

　　So far,we have studied English for three years.
　　到目前爲止，我們已經學習了三年的英語了。

　　We haven't got any news yet,so far.
　　到目前爲止，我們還沒有得到任何消息。
