【Would you like to come to supper?】

　　Would you like to come to supper?你願意來喫晚飯嗎？
　　come to supper 表示“來喫晚飯”，Would you like to…?是一比較委婉，客氣的建議或征求對方意見的句型。類似這樣的句型還有"Let's do ….","Will you do …?""Shall we do …?""What about …?""Why not…?""What do you think of …?"等。例如:

　　Let's go to the zoo.
　　讓我們去動物園吧。

　　Will you have something to eat?
　　你喫點東西行嗎？

　　Shall we have a rest?
　　我們休息一下吧？

　　【What about this one?】

　　What about this one?你看這一個怎樣？

　　What about going to park next week.
　　下周到公園怎樣？

　　Why not go with me?
　　爲什麽不和我一起去呢？

　　What do you think of reading in the classroom?
　　你看在教室裡讀書怎樣？

　　【We have our evening meal at about a quarter past six.】

　　We have our evening meal at about a quarter past six.我們在六點差一刻喫晚飯。
　　At about a quarter past six 六點差一刻，或五點四十五。表示鍾點時間用介詞短語“at 數字 past（to） 數字。前麪的數字表示”分鍾“，後麪的數字表示”小時“。如果分鍾不超過半小時，選用"past（過）"，如果分鍾超過半小時，選用"to（差）".例如：

　　We have breakfast at five to seven.
　　我們七點差五分喫早飯。

　　We go to school twenty past seven.
　　我們七點二十五去學校。

　　【I have quite a lot of homework to do.】

　　I have quite a lot of homework to do.我有好多作業要做。
　　To do 是動詞不定式，在句中作定語，脩飾homework .例如:

　　Do you have any thing to say?
　　你有什麽要說的嗎?

　　I have nothing to do?
　　我沒有事情要做.

　　【I've no idea.】

　　I've no idea.我不知道。
　　Idea 意思是“主意”，“思想”，“觀點”“觀唸”。例如：

　　Do you have any idea about this matter?
　　你知道這件事嗎？

　　That's a good idea.
　　是個好主意。

　　【Let's make it a little earlier.】

　　Let's make it a little earlier.讓我們把時間定得早一點。
　　Make “制造”，“定制”，it在此指時間，作賓語，後麪是賓補成份。例如：

　　Let's make it half past one.
　　讓我們定在一點半。

　　We can make it a small box.
　　我們可以把它做成小盒子。
