　　John: Hello, welcome to Real English from BBC Learning English. I'm John.

　　Helen: And I'm Helen.

　　John: Today we're going to look at words and phrases that you might not find in your dictionary.

　　Helen: 地道英語和大家一起學習現代英式英語中經常出現的流行詞滙和實用表達。那 John,今天你給我們帶來的新詞是什麽呢？

　　John: Today's phrase is airhead.

　　Helen: 我們今天的新詞是 airhead 空氣頭. Any idea what it means John?

　　John: Of course I do, I use it all the time, in fact sometimes I'm a bit of an airhead. It means to be a stupid or unaware person.

　　Helen: 嗯，airhead. 這個詞的真正意思是指那些腦袋空空如也的傻瓜蛋, John 儅然不是這樣人了。這個詞還有其它含義嗎？

　　John: The term implies there is nothing in a person's head except air.

　　Helen: 嗯，很容易理解，有些人很苯，一無所知，真的好象腦子裡除了空氣之外，其它什麽都沒了。

　　John: Here's an example.

　　A: Has Roger done all that paperwork?
　　B: No, I think he's forgotten again.
　　A: Again? Really, that man's an airhead!

　　John: He's a total airhead!

　　Helen: 他完全是一個沒頭腦的傻瓜。

　　John: He's a complete airhead.
