摩天輪

大家都喜歡坐摩天輪，觀賞城市景色，用不了多久，北京也將建成自己的摩天輪，那麽“摩天輪”怎麽說呢？

　　Beijing started to build the world's largest Ferris wheel, hoping to offer tourists a bird's-eye view of the city.

　　The Great Ferris, being built in Chaoyang Park of eastern Beijing, will stand 208 meters high to commemorate the 2008 Olympic Games, to be held in the Chinese capital next August.

　　全球摩天輪日前在北京朝陽公園正式破土動工，以紀唸明年8月在北京擧行的奧運會。高達208米的摩天輪建成後將成爲北京又一標志性的觀景旅遊建築。

　　摩天輪即 “Ferris wheel”；
　　標志性建築（摩天輪）“the landmark wheel”；
　　（摩天輪的）轎廂“compartments”。
