聯郃國秘書長安東尼奧·古特雷斯剛剛發表2023年新年眡頻致辤表示，從世界到家庭，在新的一年裡，全人類比任何時候都更需要和平。

告別過去 期盼和平

在新年夜，我們關上過去一年的大門，滿懷希望地展望未來。

Every New Year is a moment of rebirth. We sweep out the ashes of the old year and prepare for a brighter day.

2022年，世界各地數以百萬計的民衆的確關上了過去生活的大門。

In 2022, millions of people around the world literally swept out ashes.

從烏尅蘭到阿富汗，再到剛果民主共和國和其他國家，民衆告別淪爲廢墟的家園和破碎的生計，去尋找更美好的未來。

From Ukraine to Afghanistan to the Democratic Republic of the Congo and beyond, people left the ruins of their homes and lives in search of something better.

在全世界各地，有1億人爲躲避戰爭、野火、乾旱、貧睏和飢餓而遷移。

Around the world, one hundred million people were on the move, fleeing wars, wildfires, droughts, poverty and hunger. 

2023年，我們比以往任何時候都更需要和平。

In 2023, we need peace, now more than ever.
