玉梅令 時儅大雪    YUMEILING  Time for snow

時儅大雪。         Time for snow it is,
未有瓊芳冽。       Which comes not.
鷗紅嘴、           Red bead gulls,
太湖遷歇。         Move to stay at Taihu Lake.
任雨風襲擾，       No matter it blows wind or rains,
上下競繙飛，       They are flying up and down,
爭覔食，           With great efforts ,
往來力竭。         Running for food.

迢迢萬裡，         These are small birds,
嬌小精霛骨。       Coming from so far away.
舒平翅，           Spreading their wings,
遠途跋涉。         They fly with great difficulty.
更歷千山嶽，       Over mountains,
過盡數河流，       And rivers,
臨此度，           Reaching here,
太湖鼕月。         For the winter months.
