It tells the story of Andy Dufresne, a banker who is sentenced to life in Shawshank State Prison for the murder of his wife and her lover despite his claims of innocence. Nevertheless, Andy was not destroyed by his miserable fate. After more than 20 years of hard digging, he finally regained his freedom and lived a free life on the Mexican coast.
