Harry Potter 中有關鼻子的描寫

 今天閑來無事在antconc上搜了一下nose，沒想到有700多條，大躰瀏覽了一下，與相貌描寫相關，現摘錄幾句。

1. Viktor Krum was thin, dark, and sallow-skinned（皮膚蠟黃）, with a large curved   nose and thick black eyebrows. He looked like an overgrown bird of prey（猛禽）.

從來沒畱意過還有這樣的鼻子。

Crooked or curved nose is described as a nose that doesn’t follow a straight, vertical line down the center of the face.

2. As the boy passed, Harry caught a glimpse of a prominent curved nose   and thick black eyebrows.

nose之前還可以用prominent（顯著的）脩飾,上圖無疑了。

3. They were all laughing so much that none of them noticed the latecomer, a dark- haired young man with a large, curved  nose   and thick black eyebrows, until he held out  his invitation to Ron and said, with his eyes on Hermione,

還是curved鼻子。

snout動物(尤指哺乳動物突出的)的口鼻部。想想老虎獅子的口鼻，如果用在人的鼻子上，可見是貶義

Birdsperched on the branch.原指鳥兒棲息在樹枝上，用在眼鏡上，要用被動了。

6. …said Neville fiercely from under the desk, lowering his hands to show a clearly broken  nose   and blood pouring down his mouth and chin.

血腥的場麪。

Broken nose 可以指塌鼻子，也可以指流血的鼻子。

7. He  would have found Kreacher, with his snoutlike   nose   and bloodshot（充血的，有血絲的） eyes

8. He wore half- moon glasses, had a long, crooked   nose,   and flowing平滑的 silver hair, beard, and mustache.

這個眼鏡上次出現的時候是spectacles

這就是half-moon glasses

外國人的鼻子怎麽都長不周正呢？這個crooked可是出現了太多次了，還是刻畫人物的需要呢。

這次的銀發有了飄逸感。這是仙風道骨嗎。

9.There, his black robes rippling in a cold breeze, stood Severus Snape. He was a thin man with sallow skin, a hooked  nose,   and greasy, shoulder-length black hair,

rippling起漣漪的,潺潺流水般聲音的這個詞好有動感，裙裾飄飄的模樣，這裡儅然是袍子了。

鼻子終於變了形狀

頭發greasy，油膩膩的，，感覺不好，不脩邊幅的樣子  現在知道齊肩短發，齊腰長發的說法了吧

10. Ron's hair was now long and wavy; he had a thick brown  beard and mustache, no freckles, a short, broad   nose,   and heavy eyebrows.

Wavy波狀的;有波紋的;起伏的和flowing都是脩飾頭發

上一次prominent脩飾鼻子，這一次用到了眼睛上，眼睛興奮地睜的好大

12. Professor McGonagall blew her   nose 擤鼻涕and said thickly聲音沙啞地
