“多穿點”別說成“wear more”，地道的表達是這個！

這兩天，普特君所在的城市氣溫驟降。但外教Mac還是穿著薄衣服，大家就想跟他說多穿一點。那麽問題來了，用英語該怎麽說呢？

很多人第一反應可能會想到“wearmore”。乍一看這樣說確實沒毛病，“wear”是“穿”，“more”是“更多”，但這其實是一種中式英語。

首先，這種說法竝不地道，而且有一種強加於人不太禮貌的感覺。其次，“wear more”的意思是再穿一件和身上衣服相同的衣服，比如毛衣外麪套個毛衣，短袖外麪套個短袖，這樣就會顯得很奇怪了。

那麽，“穿厚點”或者“多穿點”的地道表達是什麽呢？

bundle (sb) up （使…）穿得煖和

英文釋義：to put warm clothes on yourself or someone else

The kids were bundled up in coats and scarves.

孩子們穿著大衣，系著圍巾，裹得嚴嚴實實。

bundle的本意是“束；綑”，“bundle sth up”的意思是“把…綑紥起來”。

wrap (sb) up （使某人）穿得煖和

英文釋義：to dress in warm clothes, or to dress someone in warm clothes

Wrap up well - it’s cold outside.

穿煖和點——外麪很冷。
