  Any more fares, please?
Shirley: When we get on the bus, let's go upstairs. I always prefer traveling on the top deck because then you can see so much more.
Jane: OK, and let's get right to the front. You get the best view of all from there.
Shirley: Where shall we get off?
Jane: Knightsbridge. Then we can go shopping in Harrods.
Conductor: Any more fares, please? Any more fares, please?
Shirley: Two one-ways to Knightsbridge please.
I always prefer traveling on the top deck。 Standing on the upper deck is not allowed(上層不許站立)。 In Auckland, all the buses are single-deckers即‘奧尅蘭所有巴士都是單層的’。
或Fares, please(請買票)等。 You should put your money in the fare box when you get on the bus(你上巴士時,應把錢投入車費箱中)。
There are some 35 fares on the bus(巴士上大約有三十五名乘客)。 (1) You may be prosecuted for trying to dodge bus fares(搭巴士不買車票,可能被起訴)。(2) The bus company has a team of inspectors responsible for catching fare dodgers(巴士公司有一隊查票員,負責尋查不付車費的旅客)。Dodge是 ‘槼避’,例如tax dodging(逃稅)、tax dodger(逃稅者)等。
