　　Jo: Welcome to another Real English programme from BBC Learning English. I'm Jo.

　　Helen: And I'm Helen. 地道英語中介紹的一些英語表達， 你可能在英語課堂上學不到，但是它們在生活中卻會經常出現。那 Jo，今天的新表達是什麽呢?

　　Jo: Well, today we're going to look at the expression yummy mummy. Y.U.M.M.Y. M.U.M.M.Y. Yummy mummy.

　　Helen: Yummy 一般是說很好喫的東西，不過它也可以用來形容很吸引人。比如說。 He's yummy. She's a bit yummy.

　　Jo: That's right. So a yummy mummy is someone who is a mother but who is also very beautiful.

　　Helen: 這個詞是和年輕媽媽們有關，很多媽媽們爲了寶寶忙上忙下，根本就沒時間考慮到自己的外貌。但是像那些名人媽媽們，因爲有一大堆人幫忙，所以不像一般媽媽們那麽受累，還是很時髦，很漂亮。

　　Jo: So, someone like Victoria Beckham – she has three young sons but she always looks great, and she is very thin and fashionable. Angelina Jolie is another yummy mummy – she now has four children but always looks great!

　　Helen: Yummy 在這裡的意思是漂亮，引人注目，它和 mummy 加在一起非常押韻。所以這個詞在電眡，襍志上都特別流行。

　　A: （Flicking through a magazine） Oh these yummy mummies make me sick. Look how thin she is – she only had a baby 6 months ago.
　　B: I know! I had mine 2 years ago and I still can't lose the weight.
