奧運“頒獎禮服”

北京2008年奧運會頒獎禮儀服飾及主要頒獎元素發佈會近日在北京“798”藝術區擧行，發佈了奧運會頒獎專業志願者將在頒獎儀式上穿著的禮服和禮儀用鞋，同時發佈了頒獎台、頒獎花束、運動員獲獎証書等主要頒獎元素。

　　A total of five series of costumes will be worn by hostesses at the 302 medal ceremonies of the August 8-24 Games, with each series being designed for certain sports events. Each series of the costumes feature three styles of suits - each for tray holders, medal presenter escorts and athlete escorts.

　　在8月8日到24日奧運會比賽的302個頒獎儀式上禮儀小姐將會身穿五個系列的頒獎禮服出現，每個系列的禮服會出現在不同的比賽現場。每一系列還分別按照托磐員、頒獎嘉賓引導員和運動員引導員的不同職能設計了三個不同款式。

　　上述報道中，medal ceremony是“頒獎儀式”，costume for medal ceremony就是“頒獎禮服”，tray holder是“托磐員”，medal presenter escort是“頒獎嘉賓引導員”，而athlete escort則是“運動員引導員”。另外，奧運會“頒獎台”也同時出爐，“頒獎台”的英文表達是podium of the Olympic medal ceremony.
