I've had backache for quite a few days.(我背部痛了好幾天),美式英文卻必須說a backache。
I have a(n) dreadful/terrible/bad/excruciating headache.(我頭痛得厲害)、I've got a splitting headache.(我頭痛欲裂)、I've got a hammering headache./There's a hammering in my head.(我的頭像被鎚擊一樣痛)、My head hurts.(我的頭很痛)、My head is killing me.(我頭痛得要命)、My head is throbbing/pounding.(我頭痛得砰砰直跳)、There is a shooting pain in my head.(我頭部陣陣剌痛)、I've got a sick headache.(我頭痛竝作嘔)、I am feeling headachy.(我有些頭痛)。 I've got a severe migraine/a severe migraine attack/a severe migraine headache.(我劇烈偏頭痛發作)。
Water shortage is our biggest headache.(缺水是我們的問題)。
