誰來 “主持婚禮”？

還記得老一輩人結婚一般都是請單位領導或比較德高望重的人來主持婚禮，而現在的人結婚基本上都是請婚慶公司的司儀來主持了。那麽，“主持婚禮”用英語怎麽說呢？

　　A man in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, who donated his bone marrow to save a girl with leukemia, got married in a hospital ward right after the operation on August 23. Officials from the local Red Cross presided over the wedding, and wished the couple all happiness for their act of charity.

　　報道中說，鄭州一個小夥子在爲一個患白血病的女孩捐獻骨髓後，在病房裡與未婚妻完成了婚禮。儅地紅十字會的領導爲他們主持了婚禮，竝祝他們永遠幸福。

　　這裡的“preside over the wedding”指的就是“主持婚禮”。“Preside over”是“主持會議或儀式”的意思。而主持婚禮的人，即“司儀”，英語中叫“master of ceremonies”。
