Postdoctoral Fellow Position in Molecular Mechanisms Regulating Inflammatory Gene Expression Position available immediately for an outstanding postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Genetics and Complex Diseases in Harvard School of Public Health, Boston, Massachusetts. The candidate will study the molecular mechanisms regulating inflammatory gene expression in macrophages. Specific areas include the analysis of epigenetic control of inflammatory gene expression, and regulation by stress response pathways and immunomodulatory signals. A more general focus is on transcriptional regulation of macrophage function, with a view towards understanding the many facets of macrophage biology. Candidates should have a solid background in molecular biology, and experience in studying gene regulation, as demonstrated in their publication record. Previous training in immunology and/or transcriptional regulation is strongly preferred. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree.
