“八榮八恥”是指：“堅持以熱愛祖國爲榮、以危害祖國爲恥，以服務人民爲榮、以背離人民爲恥，以崇尚科學爲榮、以愚昧無知爲恥，以辛勤勞動爲榮、以好逸惡勞爲恥，以團結互助爲榮、以損人利己爲恥，以誠實守信爲榮、以見利忘義爲恥，以遵紀守法爲榮、以違法亂紀爲恥，以艱苦奮鬭爲榮、以驕奢*逸爲恥。”
