en route = on the way (在途中)
這是一個單詞,外來語,竝非是兩個單詞或詞組, 後通常接"for、to、from"
例如: These containers were en route from shanghai to Los angeles.

句子:
Monitor the movement of goods all the way to the consignee through contacts
with the carrier and the forwarders’ agents abroad.我們這樣看就簡單多了:

Monitor the movement of goods through contacts with the carrier.
句子的其他部分再一點一點添加上去,句意就完整了.

21. 我們把兩句句子連在一起看:

damage = harm or injury that causes loss of value (有"失去價值"的含義)
例如: damage by fire (火損)

loss: loss 這個詞,詞義很單純, 解釋"喪失,滅失",衹是在字形上要把它和
下列單詞區分清楚:
lose (動詞)
lost ( lose 的過去式, 過去分詞, 或其他解釋的形容詞)
loss (名詞, 注意它的用法: loss of the goods)
